If you live in Southern California you know that earthquakes are just a part of daily life. I have even become adept at guessing where a recent tremor might fall on the Ricter Scale and how far from the epicenter I was standing during the event. So, it isn't hard to imagine how a local artist might be inspired by the phenomenon. In this piece you can easily see the falt line flanked by successive aftershocks.
It is 12in. X 10in. And composed of over 2300 individual wood pieces.
